The Brief
We were asked to restore and refurbish the iconic Belle Tout Lighthouse at Beachy Head.
The decommissioned lighthouse, often referred to as Britain’s most inhabited lighthouse, functions as a bed and breakfast so the outcome of our works had to incorporate the buildings original and unique features, as well as create a cosy, welcoming and functional space for the influx of holiday makers who make use of this stunning location year after year. We were asked to project manage these works from start to finish.
The Works
We engaged a variety of tradesmen for these works.
From architects and engineers to establish the plans, to builders and finally decorators. The works completed on both the exterior and interior of the building were so well done that they even earned us a place on Build A New Life In The Country.
This is a prime example of how all of our tradesmen can work seamlessly together, project managed by us from design to completion.
